Reasons you should buy AUDI A6 ALLROAD

Reasons you should buy AUDI A6

There are some ultime reasons which you might be interesed to buy AUDI A6

  1. A different kind of crossover. In a new car market stuffed with crossovers – the current hot trend among buyers and the car companies building vehicles for them – it’s nice to see that some carmakers aren’t going full-on SUV.

  2. It’s really an estate car, though, right? Definitely.
Don’t be dazzled by those skid plates and side sills: look instead at that elongated shape and consider the 565-litre boot capacity, which extends to 1,680 litres when the rear seats are lowered.

  3. But what about those off-road looks? They’re not totally for show, unlike many crossovers.
You can raise the four-level adaptive air suspension system, which is fitted as standard, by a very handy 45mm – plus there’s Audi’s famous quattro all-wheel-drive system, which means it takes some pretty slippery surfaces.

  4. That air suspension is pretty comfortable, too. The A6 allroad pretty much floats over road surfaces, even when they’re broken and scarred, as so many of them are in the UK.
This makes for a comfortable experience for its occupants.
  5. Reasons you should buy AUDI A6
  6. It’s got one of those Audi interiors. The German carmaker is one of the best in the business at creating well-designed, well-laid-out cabins, filled with high-quality materials.

  7. The A6 allroad is not an exception to this rule. Leather seats with lots of adjustment, switchgear and buttons that feel solid to the touch and plenty of space make this a great car to spend time in.

  8. Bags of equipment. There are only two trim levels – the standard car and the Sport – and there’s a high level of specification.

  9. So standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, Audi drive select (which offers a range of driving modes), DAB digital radio, MultiMedia Interface (MMI) infotainment system (which includes navigation Bluetooth and USB-based smartphone/MP3 player connectivity), air conditioning, Bi-Xenon headlights with LED daytime-running lights, LED rear lights, roof rails and a powered tailgate.

  10. There is also lots of safety equipment, including airbags, adaptive cruise control, stability control and parking assist.

  11. A great engine. There’s only one engine version available for the A6 allroad, a 3.0-litre diesel, but it comes with a choice of three different power outputs, all of which offer real performance.
So buyers can go for the base 215bhp, a more powerful 268bhp, or a fairly mighty twin-turbo variant that pumps out 315bhp and can outsprint all but the hottest sports cars, with its 5.5-second 0-62mph time.
