Samsung has revealed that its Gear S3 smartwatch will finally go on sale in the UK next week.
First unviled back at the IFA technology in September, the Gear S3 will be available in two styles, dubbed Frontier and Classic.
The Frontier edition looks to target fitness fans with its waterproof strap and rugged design.
Meanwhile, the Classic variation is aimed at those who want a more stylish, fashionable device, Samsung says.
Costing £349, the Gear S3 will be available from Samsung's online store, as well as a number of high-street retailers, from November 18th.
The Samsung Gear S3 marks a major step up from the Gear S2 thanks to the difference in its two styles.
Both variants of the Gear S3 keep the same spinning bezel mechanism that made Samsung's previous devices such a departure from other smartwatches.
Users can also customise the look of their device thanks to a number of watch faces and apps that are available to download straight to the Gear S3 itself, rather than having to go through a smartphone first.
However it is worth noting that the £349 price tag for the Gear S3 is significantly higher than Apple's top smartwatch
Apple sells its basic version of the Apple Watch Series 1 from £269 for the 38mm case, and £299 for the 42mm case.
However this version of the Apple Watch is not waterproof to 50metres, nor does it have an in-built GPS, unlike the more expensive newer Series 2 model.
