Morrisons Opening-Closing Hours During Christmas

Most Morrisons stores will be open until midnight on December 21 to 23.

On Christmas Eve Morrisons shops are open until 6pm, with some stores in London open until 7pm.

All stores are open on Boxing Day and then every day including New Year's Day.

From Wednesday 21 to Friday 23 stores will open from 6:00 am to midnight. Petrol stations will open from 5:30 am to 12:30 am.

On Saturday 24 December, Christmas Eve, stores will be open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, except some London stores that will open until 7:00pm. Petrol stations will be open from 5:30 am until 6:30 pm.

Christmas day stores will be closed nation wide, but on Boxing day, Monday 26, they will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and petrol stations will be open from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

The next day, Tuesday 27, Morrisons stores will be open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The petrol station will be open from 7:30 to 8:00 pm.

From Wednesday 28 December to Friday 30 December normal opening hours will resume.

On New Year’s Eve the stores will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm in England and Wales and 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Petrol stations are open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm in England and Wales and from 6:30 am to 19:30 pm in Scotland.

On New Year's Day Morrisons stores are open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm in England, Wales and Scotland.

On January 2 the store will be open from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm across the UK and normal opening hours will resume on January 3.

The move aims to introduce kids to wonky veg, encourage families to buy large or misshapen carrots, and help out busy parents who might otherwise forget a gift for Father Christmas.

It follows new research amongst UK parents which reveals that leaving food and drink out for Father Christmas and his reindeer is still a popular tradition for engaging kids with Father Christmas with 6.2 million UK families participating this Christmas Eve.

A typical spread of carrots, mince pies and a glass of sherry sets the average family back £2.10 putting the total cost to UK households at a whopping £13million.

Shoppers can stock up on all their festive needs on the 24 December, Christmas Eve, with large stores and express stores both opening from 6am until 10pm.

Normal trading are set to resume until New Years Eve, 31 December, when most supermarkets will be open from 6am to 7pm.

Express stores will be open from 7am to 10pm.
