Details of an estimated 380,000 users have allegedly been hacked, with cyber criminals trading the details on the web, which could leave users red-faced.
The security breach accounts for only a small amount of the website’s 12 million user accounts, but reports indicate some of these belong to government bodies in the US and UK.
According to Motherboard, which reported the leak, a test of email addresses obtained indicated they were in use and associated with accounts.
The website is free, but users can sign up for accounts to comment on videos and upload their own.
