Tony Blair Now Focusing INTO White House Vacancy

Tony Blair

The disgraced former British Prime Minister has reportedly held secret talks over joining Donald Trump’s team.

Blair is being considered for a job as as US envoy to the Middle East, according to reports.

The appointment would send shockwaves through the region – as many people blame Blair’s Iraq War for creating ISIS.

And the former Labour leader has been critical of Trump, Brexit and so-called “populism”.

But the 63-year-old is pals with the billionaire businessman’s son-in-law Jared Kushner – who is a real power player in the White House.

Kushner – who is married to Trump’s brainy blonde daughter Ivanka – is a senior advisor to the 70-year-old president.

Trump has reportedly tasked Kushner – an orthodox Jew – with bringing peace to the Middle East.

But the 36-year-old property developer has little diplomatic experience – and he reportedly wants to bring Blair on board to help out.

Blair worked as Middle East envoy for the EU, US, UN and Russia for eight years from 2007 to 2015.

The oily multi-millionaire failed to bring peace to the region and was criticised for being too close to the Israelis.

Blair has met Kushner three times since September, according to the Mail – including a three-hour summit in the White House last week.

As a British citizen, Blair couldn’t be given a formal role, but could act as an informal advisor.

Interestingly, his spokesman has refused to deny the shock reports.

The spokesman simply said: "I'm not going to comment on private conversations."
