Yaya Toure Donates Towards Manchester Victim

Yaya Toure

Man City midfielder Yaya Toure and his agent Dimitri Seluk have promised to donate £50,0000 to the victims of the Manchester bomb attack.

Toure, who is set to leave the Ethiad after sevens seasons with the club, felt compelled to help after the details of the incident became clear, according to Sky Sports news.

"Such terrible news in Manchester. Thoughts and prayers with all those affected," Toure said in a tweet from his personal account.

Toure's manager - for the moment - Pep Guardiola, was also impacted by the attack as his wife and two daughters were in attendance at the Ariana Grande concert where the attack took place. Thankfully, they were unharmed in the incident.

Toure has won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups since joining Man City from Barcelona in 2010.
