You can make this smoothie for breakfast on Christmas day to help you get into the festive mood nice and early.

But honestly, you don’t need to wait until Christmas day to enjoy it.

It’s super warming and comforting and bursting with wintery flavours.

This recipe serves two, but you can double, triple or quadruple the recipe if you want the whole family to enjoy it.

  1. 2 frozen bananas

  2. 2 cups dairy-free milk of your choice – ideal to use soya milk for a creamier texture

  3. 100ml soya or coconut yoghurt

  4. 1/2 tbsp molasses

  5. 1 tbsp milled flaxseed

  6. 1 tsp cinnamon

  7. 1/2 tsp ginger

  8. Pinch of nutmeg

  9. Pinch of cloves
  1. Blend all the ingredients together until smooth.

  2. Pour the smoothie into separate cups and serve.

  3. If you want, you can top it with vegan whipped cream or whipped coconut cream.
