Tinder Now Brings A New Feature

It just got even easier to secure yourself a date as there's a new way to Tinder.

Forget your phone, tablet and even smartwatch, you can now browse Tinder on the biggest screen in your house, your TV.

Letting you take an even more detailed look at a world of potential partners, Tinder has released an Apple TV app that will fill your living room with a world of left and right swiping possibilities.

Working just like the standard smartphone app, Tinder for Apple TV simply subs out your phone's touchscreen for Apple's touch remote.

Using this little wand, you can enjoy all of Tinder's swipe-based gestures, just on a bigger scale.

While swiping left will reject a potential beau, swiping right will send a like and hope for a match. If you're really keen on someone's profile snaps, swiping up will send them a Super Like and push you to the front of the queue.

Feel like you were too hasty with that last binning? Fine, just give the remote a shake and you can rewind your last swipe, assuming you're a Tinder Plus subscriber that it.

Although using Tinder on your phone offer a certain level of discreteness, blowing it up to the big screen has its benefits too. Just think how closely you'll be able to look at those profile pics now.

While Tinder has suggest you 'invite family' to come join the date-hunting experience, we wouldn't recommend that. No one wants to hear their mum pipe-up about how "she looks like a nice girl" while you're trying to secure a date.

Tinder for Apple TV is free to download.
